Thumbs up Whussup From Georgia¿!¿

Hello everyone,
First things first, My name is Phillip Synenberg but anyone who knows me calls me P.J. I'm 21 years old and work at the local Budweiser distributorship (No I won't get you a hat, or any damn cheap beer!) And I also am a magician, which makes me a good little bit of cash on the side. Anyhow , Enough of the bull**** I recently arrived from the Minitruckin' scene. I used to swear I'd never own one of these bumble bee sounding sonsa bi***es, than I bought a 94 civic for $800 and had the bug ever since. So recently my wife said I could have only one project, so I sold my bagged 86 s-10 and bought a 2000 civic from a repo company that a young punk had. Its super ugly but I gave $300 for it, and it runs good except for the exhaust bracket that broke... See Pic, Anyhow, the goal is to build a Monster boosted D16 to put in it....When I get my next promotion at work I want to build a Super MONSTAH K series for the ole' civic.

I Guess he found it easier to make some "Stitches" for the bumper as opposed to replacing it.

However it does have JDM Tails and Clear corners in the front. Btw the interior is completely stock aside from except for the aftermarket p.o.s radio in the empty big a$$ stock radio hole. Looking to put double Din in anyhow.

Welcome to HCF!

Nice find for $300! Looks like it has EG (92-95 civic) front seats in there. Not bad though. Hooray for boosted d series! Me and a few others on the forum are in process of piecing turbo kits together for our cars. You should check them out on the project section.

Got a under-the-hood pic?

Looks like a good deal. Needs work of course, but for $300, who can complain about the work it needs? lol

i would like to comment... your tails arent JDM they are stock and the headlights look chrome... so they are aftermarket... also not jdm lol

hope you dont do to this civic what you did to that car in the "MY FIRST HONDA" pic... that one is pretty bad looking IMO

Nice find for 300 cant wait to see some updates on it Welcome to the forum.....

Thanks everyone! And I was reading another thread after I posted this one and it said those were SI taillights, I knew I would catch some grief for that. So I apologize for my ignorance. BTW, Just for the record, I bought my old honda like that, Some hooters girl built it, I bought it, drove it for a year, put 30,000 miles on it replaced a cv axle and sold it for $2500...Well, I bought a camber adjustment kit as well.

You bet your a$$ I do! Which reminds me, I forgot to mention in the first post, The body has 237,000 miles. I believe the motor has been swapped, It currently has a d16z6.

Hey man, nice buy. It'll be nice to see this Civic rebuilt to awesome. You're right. The D16z6 came in the 92-95 Civics, much like your front seats did.

Are you sure it's a 2000? 99-00 Civics did not have that antenna above the driver's door, I believe. Only 96-98 ones did. And what happened to the windshield wipers? Were they just put back on a little wrong? Or have you looked at that yet? Looks like it also has no AC and no power steering?

Good luck with the build. You'll find some good information here. Got any interior pics?

Mine is directly above the driver door (99 EX). I had no idea it could possibly be anywhere else.

Synenberg, I hope you plan on re-painting that engine bay and getting a new intake! lol regardless, if it runs and has a complete interior.... it's a steal for $300. Are you putting a new OEM clutch in, or are you upgrading it (stage 1, 2 etc)?

That's weird. Even my old 2000 DX base model had a power antenna. I think they were embedded in the rear windshield or something. I guess it looks like there were actually antenna options.

[edit] are those NOS ports on that intake? And wow, the more I look at the engine bay, the more I think it's a good candidate for massive boost. Lots of room in the bay.

That's not a D16Z6. It's a D16Y8.

Nope, not nitrous ports. I believe that one is for the IAT sensor. The other is kinda just there. I suppose you could use them for nitrous. Many aftermarket intakes have those little nipples on them.
