RE: Will 4 cyl Camry LE rims fit 2001 EX Coupe?
I didn't know whether anyone would care since afterall I am on HCF ! At least you guys didn't say "Hey, nice Monte " But here goes....
My "ride" is a 1987 Buick Regal Grand National. I purchased it new on 10 August 1987 as a divorce present to myself.
Here are some specs:
19 years old with a very pampered 56k miles . The car has never been wet except to wash. ( No rain or snow driving )
3.8L (231 cube) Turbocharged Intercooled v6
stock numbers 245hp 355lb-ft torque ( current setup is at 400hp and 425lb-ft tq )
engine never opened however, the following upgrades have been done:
43 lb injectors (replaced 28lb stockers)
Walbro 340 255gph fuel pump with Hotwire kit
RJ powerplate
160 deg thermostat
3 inch downpipe
3 inch high flow Cat
Full stainless ATR exhaust flowing through Flowmaster Delta 40's
3.5 inch LS1 MAF
Translator Plus
Extender chip
Scanmaster 2.1
VDO gauges for boost, oil press, water temp and knock[IMG][/IMG]
245/60 BFG TA front on 15X8 American Racing Outlaw II
295/50 BFG TA rear on 15X10 American Racing Outlaw II
Moog springs
KYB gas shocks
Using G-Tech with 300lb co-pilot/instrument man was able to achieve the following numbers:
0-60 4.9sec with NO torque-braking , just a good pedal stomp
1/4 mile 12.7sec @ 109mph stock, converter, street tires and just a stomp on the gas.
Most fun for me is doing 30-40 mph and mashing the pedal and lighting up the tires for 15-20 feet. That will wake up a driver when you pass them.
I'll try to upload a few recent pictures from this past weekend ( first time out since last Fall )
