hey im jay and im 19. i have a 91 civic si hatch with a b16 and i plan on swapping an h22 in it soon. if u guys think its a mistake let me know. alrite peace

 

welcome to the forum. uh hmmm, you have a "B" 16 right and not a "D" 16? if so i think that was swapped in right ? not sure of a b series motor being put in the hatch in 91. if so why swap again? your motor the b16 has dual overhead cams and has alot of tuning potential. the h22 has .6 liters more motor and more torque and more horsepower and stuff, but I prefer tuning the underdog up to spec rather than putting the beef in already powered up. either one will be fun, but you need to decide if you have enough money for a motor swap and possible mods to the h22 or do you wanna save your money for the swap and tune the one you got now. i.e. turbo and all necessary upgrades that come with it. have fun researching and goodluck with your decision.
