I want this guys 240. It has vacuum leak. Offered guy 600 cash - TODAY.
Says he wants $1100 out of it.

I'm going to send him to this thread after a few of you reply.
Give your thoughts on value on this car.

 

I would give him $800 if he threw in a bottle of selsun blue for the clearcoat flakes.

 

I'm going to paint it all black if I get it.

lol looks like crap, i wouldnt offer anything until you drive it and see it in person, there is alot of B.S. craigslist sellers who lie, ive wasted my time driving to many different sellers and there ad was all b.s. the lied about alot on the vehicles they were trying to sell,

a red flag comes up automatically when you posted he said it has a vacum leak, ill call B.S. if he knew it has a vacum leak then why not fix it...?

Buyer beware, i would goo check everything out, if its nothing like what he says or if there is more b.s. wrong with the car then what he is telling you then go home and post on craigslist that he is full of **** to warn other buyers

just from the looks i wouldnt give anymore than 500, he wants 1100 he is full of **** lol, its a 240 they are a dime a dozen

 

The only reason that car would go for a little more than it's worth is because he has a set of 350z wheels. I don't know how much those cars or those wheels go for, but that car looks like crap and I wouldn't pay more than $500 for it... The wheels, maybe a couple hundred I guess...

 

I can tell you kinda wanna get this sucker(the car) but you don't wanna be ripped-off in the end. I say $825 & no more for everything. The car looks like it been parked on Venus for years! I would say go check the car out yourself(DO NOT bring any money with you in case you have the thought of buying it right then & now!), check it out inside & out..if the interior looks as bad or worst than the outside..then lower that price to $700.
I mean...how can someone expect to sell a car they haven't taken care of too well for their own price...If anything..he should just sell it for parts.

 

The 350z rims and what not do not come with it. The lugs don't even match. =P
I've told him 3 times that i'd pay 900 at max. And thats if the body is straight.. and I mean straight.
He keeps telling me 1100 firm. And that I need to see it to know its worth. Its just a KA24 Yeah its a DOHC, but not worth that much. I'd just end up puttin a 350 in it or a RB24. =)

Yeah, i want it. I want it as a daily driver. Would give me the ability to finally put the z6 in the hatch and have time to figure it out. No more rushing to get it done. Make damn well and sure everything is done right.

I never, never go to look at cars with cash. I let them know that too. I check it out one day, then buy it the next if I like it. I always have my .45 on me if I'm checking something out from CL.

 

From my experience, do not buy cheap crappy looking cars esp if they aren't already running. You only do that if you know the person personally and trust them. I can bet if you get this car you'll have 2 project cars that you'll be dumping money in and have a constant headache. It's cheap, I know, but not anywhere near worth it. Spend the extra cash on a good, running car. It'll be cheaper in the long run...

 

Very true sir. This one is in running condition. It jsut happens that i'm a stupid fan of 240s. lol.

 

get another ef as a dd. i bet you could find one that runs for ~1000.
