man, I've been looking to getting into it, but I really wanted to wait until I have my own laptop. I think my gf is gonna give me her old one when she gets a new one with her tax refund. So maybe I'll see you next year? lol

haha i actually play here and there, i host a server, 99.48.153.11, but its running 1.9 prerelease 6.
I just throw it up for me and a few friends to play, but with work lately i havent been on.
If you wanna play on it feel free, youll have to walk away from the starting area to build, and when i get home ill look at logs and if you happened to check it out, ill OP your name so you can build anywhere.
I can also give you building mode if you were to play on it and ect.
but ya, minecraft is a dope game, as far as letting you be imaginative and creative, it is actually part of the reason i wanna put a PC in my car hahaha, along with more obvious reasons.

No one will be able to get on it unless they are also running 1.9pr6. I immediately ran into issues when Minecraft 1.0.0 came out and it definitely won't work with 1.1.0.
There's a Bukkit 1.1.0 server pre-release out that I'm playing with, and Mojang has the official bare bones one, of course.

I play as well.
I am hosting a server on my home network, but it doesn't go further than that because I did not feel like messing with port forwarding this time (Had one in the past, but then it accidently itself)
I just got down building an extensive labyrinth under my house, that goes four floors down. Thanks to the newest release giving me spawning eggs, I was able to fill it up with zombies and skeletons and turned it into a maze for my roommates.
