Using Sea Foam by x2100


The Sea Foam looks like this:



It's a 1 pint bottle, and it's up to you how you want to use it.
I split mine up to 1/3 pint for the gas tank, fuel injector, and crankcase

Pour 1/3 pint into the gas tank and crankcase with the engine Off


Start the engine up and let it warm up.
Then remove the vacuum line from the fuel pressure regulator. When you take the vacuum line out, the engine will not be running smooth.
Put the line into the Sea Foam. Try not to stick in into the liquid all the way because your car will stall if you do that. Try to keep the vac line on the surface of the liquid. You can increase throttle to prevent the car from stalling, and that will also suck in the Sea Foam quicker, or you can use a spray bottle to spray it into the vac line as mentioned by Fast93civic. In the process smoke will start to come out from the exhaust and manifold.


When you have the 1/3 pint into the manifold, turn the engine Off.
Restart the engine after 5 min.
There will be a lot of smoke coming out (It's probably a better idea if this is done at night so the smoke is less visible)
The smoke will go away after a while and you're done.
Your car should idle smoother and maybe even at a lower rpm. Pings and stalling should mostly be cured and the carbon build up cleaned.
