Yeah, I have heard that it will give you a little gain due to the more aggressive fuel/igniton maps.

So would i be possible to just unplug mine and plug in a VTEC ECU?
Or does it get more complicated?

You will get a CEL and it will run in limp mode. No need to do it really.
