Default "race" with a VW

some vw beetle thing tried to race me from a red light. i didnt even try.
i eased it up to about 45 and he was just a little behind me so i eased it up a litle more to 50 and he was gone.
then i came up on my turn so i dunno where he went.

it was just amusing caus' he seemed so serious.


and yeah.. the driver of the vw beetle was a he

no, meant like drop a turbo and run 15psi, with some aluminum heads with a car that weighs around 1400 pounds,it wouldnt even be funny, those little bugs can get into the 9's with about 1/3 the price it would take to get a civic there... just a big power/weight ratio

It was a crx, in the rematch the beetle went into the opposite wall juuust missing the crx.
Damn that was a good one...good thing they installed the roll cage on it.

Civics can not touch older Bugs $ for $. Man you could take a bug and throw around $3000 at is and pull the front wheels off the ground in the first 3 gears.
