05 civic gear ratio specs
Hi guys, I crawled my way thru cyberspace to look for gear ratios of 05LX vs 05EX but i couldn't find anything. can someone point me to the right location. I got conflicting information when I search thru Honda dealer's used inventory specs.

RE: 05 civic gear ratio specs
great info. thanks guys. now this leads to my next question. the LX and EX engine has the same displacement. the only diff is the compression and the other one is VTEC. but how is the EX engine able to produce more power than that of the LX?both are SOHC.
looking at the chart below from the 05 brochure, i find it surprising that the EX manual has lower mileage (37) at highways compared to the EX auto (38). is this something to do with the gear ratios? and surprisingly, the EX auto at city (31) has higher mpg than the LX auto (29). the EX is supposed to be more poweful and consumes more gas than the LX. but again maybe because of VTEC.
EPA Mileage Estimates
5spd man 32/38(DX/VP/LX) 32/37(EX)
4spd auto 29/38(DX/VP/LX) 31/38(EX)
