Default high power alternator 96-00

6-8-11 EDIT 130shipped 48states. thats a steal for this high power alternator! paypal only.

EDIT 180 bucks shipped 48states

ok well ive decided NOT to go big for the stereo in my 96dx and just keep it small and simple!

so i dont need this alternator anymore. i did buy it used from another member on here and used on my civic for about in may... and out of that 5months or so i havent driven the civic very much. but when i had it installed it worked GREAT!!!!!

it has a overdrive pulley on the alternator but it does have a extra rib on the pulley BUT its not needed. just install the alternator and make sure to line the belt up on the right grove and your golden!
reason for the overdrive pulley is because when your motor is at idle it keeps the alternator spinning faster which in turn has better voltage output at lower idle speeds!!!

you do have to swap out the upper bracket tho because of the overdrive pulley is smaller and with a overdrive pulley you either need a smaller belt or longer adjuster arm. BUT i will include my new adjuster arm which bolts right up inplace of your stock arm and it clears everything and works with your stock alternator belt!

200bucks takes it. local pickup... or plus shipping...

i gutted the civic before i sold it and well i plan on putting the large system into my truck instead of the civic so i have to buy a different high power alternator for it of course......

only other thing you need is to upgrade your ground wires and the alternators charging wire to at least 4gauge. thats the only thing i do now have for you to directly swap onto your civic. well i do have the 4gauge wire that i had on my civic BUT with my custom battery terminal setup i can not say for sure if it will fit or not.... plus the one wires end is just open no terminal on the end. ill include it if you want....

other than that and the upper mount the alternator is a direct fit.

its suposedly made by iraqii
which they are well known for nice alternators.

it works great tho! your stock alternator is only about 70-90amps i believe no where near enough to handle a good size stereo system!
