Default License Plate Relocate Kit. For or Against?

i saw this really nice red ek today and it had its front license place relocated to the side instead of the center. it made me kind of want to do that to my civic. i just need you guys opinion on this. should i relocate the plates to the side of the bumper or should i keep it the way it is and leave it in the center.

thinking about using something like this.

keep it in the center, it makes the front end look off balance and you also run into the problem of having to fill the holes.

if i do plan to do it, i want to get those caps to cover up the hole. so i don't know , i'm kind of leaning on either side, kind of want to do it and kind of don't.

Just kidding. You can make one for 5 bucks and a dremel (or an angle grinder).

Go to a hardware store and buy:
-1" aluminum hollow square stock (the shortest length they have cause you only need about a foot)
-4 bolts and nuts. The size is up to you since you are cutting the holes.

Cut this shape out with the dremel and then drill out the two holes for the license plate and the two holes to mount it to the bumper.

Then, with some of the scrap make a backing plate to go on the inside of the bump, this increases the rigidity of the mount. And drill two holes for the bolts.

Cheap and easy
