ok so i just started hearing my left wheel making this annoying noise.. it sounds like something is hitting something cause it makes the noise on every rotation.. it isnt until i brake or go a bit faster.. like 40 mph, that it stops.. its not REALLY loud.. but i cant hear it, , and its embarassing.. would anyone know what it could be?

 

First I like to start with the easy stuff......so here we go. 1) Are the lug nuts tight enough? 2) Is it the brake? What kinda noise? More than likely its the CV joint, they make noise like "CLICK CLICK CLICK" when youre going slow or turning. Its a cheap fix if you can do the labor.

 

its not really a "click click click".. its more like a squeekey high pitched noise...

now, now, slow your roll, if it's a humming noise, it could be a wheel bearing that is slightly worn on the front which explains why it goes away at somewhat higher speeds. i have a rear that just went bad and it makes a humming noise which really gets on my nerves, but i just turn the sub up a little, and BAM i fixed the noise. LOL

finally someone agrees with me on this forum without causing a big ordeal. LOL JK

 

my rears (i think the driver side) were screaming, humming. the faster i go, the louder it gets.
