How low is too low?

Default How low is too low?

Hello!
Can anyone help me to find what is the lowest i could drop my 94 ex with 17 inch wheels and about 3 inch thick tires (estimate) without them rubbing with the inside of my car?

i would just get a set of good coil overs and drop it till just before the wheels rub

however with coilovers you would experience a rough ride but they are adjustable. Just measure the amount of wheel gap you have with the 17s at stock ride height and then lower from there just make sure to leave at least about an inch give or take for absorbancy.

i cant figure out why everyone says that. only thing i can think is they lower them all the way down. i have coilovers on my car and i love the ride. its stiffer than stock, but i wouldnt trade it for the world

all the cars that i have ridden in/driven with coilovers have had pisspoor ride quality maybe they were lowered all the way not sure, but if you hit a bump in the road it seems as if your head is bobbing for the next 5 minutes.

must be some worn out shocks i guess. when i got my car it had the neuspeed race springs with stock shocks and i hated it. i got some no name accord coilovers and just put them on the stock shocks cause at the time i was too broke to buy shocks. and now i havent changed them cause it rides great. im sure it will wear the shocks out before it would on stock springs though
