Default metal on metal tapping

I have a 2000 civic EX with a JDM 16a2 swap....In the front right of my civic up by the wheel well I hear a clanking everytime I hit a bump....it sounds like something loose bouncing around....I have looked and all the motor mounts are good....the bushings in that area look good....I do have alot of grease coming out around my CV boots but dont think they would be the problem...does anyone have an idea...it would be awesome if I could get this fixed myself with out spending my paint money on it lol...plz help!!!!!

are ur cv boots cracked? if so, the grease from inside there is coming out and thats whats causing the sound. theres prolly no more grease in there and the lil gears inside are rubbing together very roughly.

check ur cv boots, if theres a crack and grease all over, u need to have that fixed. i had that happen to me and ended up replace the axels..

only thing i could think of makin the sound is the axel...unless theres some loose bolt somewhere on ur suspension. check ur sway bar endlinks/bushings aswell.

wouldnt my axle move alittle though when i try and move it? I tried and it seemed pretty solid...and i am pretty good sized guy. Also it sould like there is more movement when it makes the sound...like if i hit railroad tracks...it sounds like something is loose and slaping around quite a bit. Like an example of the sound.....when i was in iraq we drove those box vans with the metal back box and van front....well a piece of angle iron broke loose under the van and every time we hit a bump...which there is alot of over there....it would slap up and down until we hit smooth surface. also i dont get the sound when i turn sharp or anything like that.

my best guess is there is a bushing that youre not seeing under there thats possibly dissentigrated... but for a 2000 year car... seems like that wouldnt be the prob...
