My headlights on my car aren't really bright and I want some new ones, where is a cheap place to find them? or what kind is good and not too expensive

 

are you looking for just new bulbs? or your headlights just hazed on the lens and your looking to replace? If so you dont need to replace your headlights, you can buff the haze out.


Please try to post in the correct location also.

 

just dont cheap out on bulbs! the cheaper bulbs say they are brighter which they are BUT they also draw alot more power.... more than your factory wires are designed to handle so they can burn up your wiring easily!
keep it with a standard brand name bulb from like autozone. you can buy the bulbs off ebay but be sure what your buying so you dont dry your headlight wiring!

 

for bulbs, sylvania silverstars or some PIAA's will work nicely.

what kind of bulbs are in a stock 93 civic dx

headlight bulb number is a 9003

 

Stock lights in a '93 should have glass fronts, they can't get hazy. But the interior can degrade, by getting a lot of water in it or for other reasons the mirrored surface in the back loses its shine. The only cure for that is replacing the unit.

 

yea I didnt know what year it was at first thats why I wasnt sure if he was referring to the headlight lens or bulbs
