LCAs, strut bars and tie bars, springs then shocks are good ways to start with suspension things.

Getting aftermarket wheels wont hurt.

as far as spring/shock setups go, Tokico Illuminas and H&R Sport springs can't be beat.

On Stechs, I personally would never put them on a car. Stechs are designed to lower a car without the need...

My thoughts to him, you, and his family. Death is never an easy thing to cope with, especially an un-timely death that is at the fault of a third party. Best wishes to all of you.

18x7 on any 5g civic is a bad idea if you have any plans of lowering.

My vote is always for a set of 205/45-16s around some 16x7 rota slips.

RE: Used rota slipstreams - what are they worth?

You can get them new from a vendor off of ebay for $350...granted that's without tires, but it's still cheaper AND they're new.

RE: How do i make a 96 civic beat a V8 LS1?

not if you want to beat F-bodies. Those engines are good for 14's...13's if you're crazy, but once you get into that kinda power with a D16Y it would be better to swap an H or a B.

Those tires are too big on any pre-2001 civic. 205/45/16 should do you nicely.

AHHH Rota Slipstreams. They're knockoffs of Spoon SW-388 but they're fantastic wheels. And for 12 pounds for a 15" and 14.5 pounds for a 16"...who can complain?

Plus...you'll be hard-pressed to...

RE: 02 civic si hatch

Hahaha. If you're budget is 1000 bucks you'd blow it on the wheels alone. They're $330 a pop. Have fun trying to find suspension that costs -$320 bucks.
