Default Need opinions quick :)

Hi,

Well I posted before about a car I was going to look at and I ended up going to look at a different car. I ended up putting a down payment on a 98 civic EX 4 door. The car is pretty nice. Here is the exact link: http://www.trader.ca/Search/Details....23%7C&awatch=1. It has 146K, standard, security system, deck, rims and a performance exaust. The inside is nice but I'm really wondering if I could get it. As it is right now it isn't very sporty/stylish. I actually went to the dealership to look at this one: http://www.autotechemporium.com/cgi-...WROOMiD=S00088 which is the same model but modded (and the kid drove the crap out of it/no good)

. What are your guys opinions? A friend of mine says I can get 300 K off the car easy so if I wanted to get a paint job and im thinking a lip kit (body kits seem a little gay) then I would probably get good use out of it. I have till tomorrow to decide if I want to get my deposit back.

Thanks for your time.

Jeff

P.S The 4 door is a bonus for me since insurance is a lot lower and I plan to have people in my car all the time.

The first one seems like a safer bet. Not a fan of the green, but a little lip kit and a nice paint job would clean it up real nice.

There's better cars out there privately, and you don't have to pay GST.

and this next one......a perfect pick for an engine swap:

Hey!

The green one is pretty much not modded other then the exaust (which i think is just a muffler or tip) and Security system. I saw your 4 door in the gallery and its kind of given me inspiration . I think your car is the same model as the one im buying. Hopefully I can make mine look as nice as yours. Wish me luck!

Jeff

Okay, sorry that those links don't do anything.

Try looking at the private owned cars on autotrader for the same price you're willing to spend from the dealer. You can get some pretty decent deals privately, and you can get a little more expensive car since you won't be paying the GST.
