i was driving around town and there was this cop that had nothing better to do than tail me. so i was at a stop light and i figured he was checking my plate for the 15th time. and once the light turned green i gave the car a little gas and once i was rolling a little i let loose. (so not to spin tires) sure enough this is what the cop was waiting for. im hauling ass until i get to 45mph on the dot. and he is just right on my ass. needless to say, i was laphing my head off and the cop new it. it was great. if anyone els decides to try this make sure you dont spin your tires. cause they can give you a ticket for that. that cop was seriously pissed when i did that. when he saw me laphing he just turned into a plaza knowing i wasnt going to stop laphing.

Haha, I'm always as nice as possable to cops... if that guy sees you again he'll try to find ANYTHING you're doing wrong. I always give them a smile and wave and let them go about their business.
I got news for you man, they can give you a ticket for whatever the hell they want.... ask me how i know...
They can pull you over for accelerating fast its called "excessive show of speed" My friend got a ticket and it was like $300 bucks for just keeping it floored up to about 50mph.

I would fight that in court. Tell the judge your car only runs on 3 outa 4 cylinders and then ask how fast should you accelerate. Then ask if you can give the cop a ticket for being a dick-head.
he actually did try to fight it.... he lives about 30 minutes away from me in a small town where the cops think they are kings. The judge basically took the cops word over my buddies and threatened to raise the fine. My friend should of appealed but lawyer fees made it easier to just pay the ticket....
