ORIGINAL: fast93civic If you think Im bull crapin you about me totally owning a cavalier you are wrong my friend, I do NOT lie, and I dont mistake about a race. The thing is, that I wasn't stock in the first place when I killed that cav, and like I said, he was beat from 45, and a dead stop. No competititon. first off - i don't know you, so i'm not really able to pull the BS flag...i will say, though, that generation of Z24(assuming it's a third gen) has 150HP at the crank...so i assume you have around the same, or you're just that much better at launching. how did you account for the Civic's lack of torque? the last true Z24 was produced in 1994, when the last 3.1L V6 rolled off the line. call me a collector of pooptastic cars, but i'd love to get my hands on it, just to tell people they were owned by the last real Z24.

Hey cavvy experts, can you explain to me why it is that every Cav/Sunfire owner i've ever seen has to drive ghetto style with the seat leaned way back and one hand on the wheel?

did you miss the wink? calmate...i was joking as well. i didn't come here to start anything with anyone. besides...ANYONE who truly knows how to drive won't sit like that. i don't care who they are, what they drive, OR what gender they happen to be. oh...and by the way...i'm not a dude. i lack the dangly bits to fit into that category. ;)

wow, dangly bits, nicely put. I was just giving you guys a hard time cause you were defending cavvys so much. I'm kind of a sarcastic asshat, so just ignore what i say The cavvy that i talked about racing towards the top of this thread, was definitely not a z24, and i would estimate it was probably a 2001? I know nothing about these cars so i don't know for sure what year it was. But the guy was drivin' ghetto style and my second gear owned him.

i, too, am sarcastic...but i tend to tread lightly when i'm a newb. regardless...yes, if it was an 01, then it was an eco, and probably some dumbass kid who got the car because either that's what mom and dad gave him, or that's what he could afford. blah. i'm not a fan of the ecos, regardless of their capabilities...i'd prefer a 1.6L corolla that can corner like anything over an ecotec. then again, that might come from working for chevy for awhile - i saw ecos come in frequently in their infancy, when GM was still working the kinks out. the eco that's in some saabs, the cobalt, the ion, and the HHR is a nice motor, and i could see myself owning one of those if they weren't in such fugly cars.

by the way - i'll defend any car that's being mercilessly downed, unless it's a Metro or something equally as crappy. as with all compact cars with sub-200HP output, it depends on the driver. feel free to make fun of a douchebag driver - just leave the car out of it. the car is nothing but a victim of stupidity.
