Default Plexi-glass box...

Ok, i just sold my 2 audiobahn 10's and my enclosure in the newspaper (they sucked) and i was looking to get new subs and a new amp. I'm thinking either Eclipse or Kicker on the subs but i was just wondering if it would be at all worth it to get a dual 12" sealed plexi glass box over a regular wooden one. Thanks

If you wanna see into the box then sure go for it. Personally I see no point to an all plexiglass box.

It depends how thick the plexiglass is. If it's not thick enough, it'll work like crap.

[sm=noooo.gif] As one of the audio big dogs of the forum I gotta say thats a bad idea. Plexi is mainly for show. You need a box that will absorb soud, not reflect it. You wont like what a plxi box will produce. My reccommendation for that would be to settle with a plexi glas window thats no more than 35% of the box.
