Vehicle: 2002 Civic EX Coupe
Product: AEM V2 Intake
Distributor: www.cardomain.com
Cost: ~$250
Rating: ****

This is a great intake, gives great hp gains, an amazing sound, and has good looks. I am throughly happy with it.
Installation is very simple, take out the stock air box, and the AEM V2 bolts right up to stock bracket.

Car: 2005 civic lx
Product: Aem V2

This is a superb product, installation was fairly simple as well. The V2 sounds good, very deep pitch. The car feels quicker and more responive. Id have to give this product 5 stars :D

i just got my v2 intake; i have a 05 lx sedan a/t and the throttle response is the thing that's most noticeable

Maybe because you're an automatic? I had an injen short ram first and that was mind blowing on my 04 sedan lx... then I went back to stock box last winter and NOW I am rolling this winter with my simota cold air intake and I am loving it... I would have done the V2 if I would have heard about it earlier, but westimport gave such a good deal on it i couldnt pass it up!!

Would you say that the V2 is better than an aem cold air intake?

The V2 comes in 3 different colors and i think a different metal, but i really dont know, i have an INJEN and proud of it.

that is incorrect, the v2 only comes in one color. and that color is "powdercoated titanium-look finish"

Is there much difference in performance between the AEM V2 vs. the AEM SRI?
I know both are short ram with the V2 having different plumbing technology.
Thanks.

Well, in the world of intakes, there is quite a bit of diiference, but keep in mind that quite a big difference may be 3hp versus 6 hp.

3hp would make up for maybe some ricer covers on your front seats and if you have a big dinner or something.
