Sounds like my intake. What you need is a $10 mini mic taped to the back of your car with a wind buffer thing, then you can hear what it sounds like outside your car. Don't forget to use an extension cable, so if the mic falls off and grabs something it just breaks away. I don't like the "ricey" sound, but I can't hear it in that video, mainly from the recording. I came across the same issue with my inboard recording. Also, why are you short shifting? The ricey sound only really happens after 6000 RPMS.

im not gena go that far outa my way just for some sound clips...its not a very ricey sounding exhaust, the sound clips were taken before i had my intake and header and it was a bit raspy but after they were installed, it got less raspy and a lil more deep tone. i wasnt racing or anything like that, straight lines just dont do it for me, was just out havin some fun and decided to get a quick clip.

Sounds great, but after 4K rpm and up. As I drive my Civic mostly betwenn 2-3k rpm in the city will sound too deep for me. I don't have VTEC as well. I think you do. The sound is realy smooth and pleasuable to listen in the high range rpms!
