Default 93 civic vs 2005 chevy cobalt

I SMOKED THAT MOTHER ****ER! my car is like practically stock. i got an intake and a strutbar. the roads were wet as hell and we were sitting a light. the guy starts reving his engine so of course i reved back lol. light turns green and he takes off. i didnt exactly take off cause my tires as bald as ****. i was behind by like 30 feet when i shifted into 2nd gear and after like 3000 rpm's i just took off. flew past him and by the time i got off at an exit i was goin about 120. 93 civics = ownage. come to pittsburgh and me and my civic will dominate on any cobalts chest. Well there is a model of the cobalt that is supercharged. They are faster than a stock civic by far.

There is no way in hell he lost to you. He would even be able to beat you in reverse.

base model still has 140hp, but has a fuel-limited governor @ 108, so yea he probably smoked him upto 108 when the civic could keep on going

I was under the impression that cobalts are not that fast unless it's an SS or SSSC, why is it so unbelievable that an EG could beat one? He didn't really give us any details about either car, either...

The cobalt probably jumped out in front, saw that he was winning, shut down, civic did a fly-by and claimed victory. But if the owner of this story disagrees, ill gladly take the "pepsi challenge" and come up to pittsburg with my buddies stock cobalt and race him for slips.

03 EX coupe - 8.4 16.5
05 Cobalt LS - 8.4 16.6

A lot of details are missing from this guys story and it sounds, but I don't understand why you guys make it sound like any Cobalt is so much faster than any EG
