stupied Q but let me know anyways!

got a front strut bar for 97 civic cx. going to put it in today, do i just unbolt the 4 bolts (2 on each side) and just place it and rebold it? is it that simple?

do i need a torque wrench or do i need to lift the car up?

help would be appriciated!

Yep that's all there is to it. Don't lift the car up, and no you don't really absolutely NEED a torque wrench but it wouldn't hurt. Technically you need a torque wrench when you put your wheels on, too, but I haven't lost any wheels on the road yet, fingers crossed [8D]

Dude, use a torque wrench. Its not wise to mess with something attached to your suspension, without taking necessary precautions.

IMO, It's the easiest thing to put on. You won't have any problems.;)

I put mine on without a t-wrench, still no problems from it. It's a strut bar you're installing not an engine part, it's not THAT critical that you torque it to certain specs. Just make sure that when it's tight you go a little bit more.
