2007 Door Trim coming off

Hello all

Just picked up an 07 sedan. The door/window trim is obviously not in the track on both sides and looks rather cheap the way it's coming off.. Any suggested fixes? Does this indicate...

RE: guy on 500cc bike thinks hes better

You'll probably get owned bad, unless it's some American P.O.S. Any jap bike, even that small displacement, is going to wreck you--unless it's like a rebel or some other weenie cruiser. It's all...

Coolant--why do we change it again?

Can someone give me a good reason why coolant is supposed to be changed? I've owned 2 Honda's and an Acura, all 3 went well over 100k, and I just now realized I never changed coolant, not once. No...

RE: Exposed metal -- how to protect it?

Pull what off, get back in my car? I used a screwdriver to pull apart the door seal just enough, and slipped a coat hangar in between there. After what felt like 50,000 re-bendings and...

Exposed metal -- how to protect it?

Ok, so long story short, I locked myself and had to bend a coat hanger to get back in. It wrecked the paint around the window seal. Paint got scratched off, and bare metal is showing. I want to...

Modifying an AEM CAI

I've had this thing for a year now, and I'm not impressed so far. It sits so far from the engine, you gotta wait until 4k to get any useable power. It's like your trying to pipe cement uphill to...

DIY brake shoe change?

It's time for new shoes in the rear, and my shop quoted me $180 for parts/labor to change the shoes out. I'd like to do this myself instead. I have access to lots of tools, and was wondering if...

B&M "Style" Short shifter-oh, ****.

Well, I got burned and wasn't paying attention when buying my short shifter on Ebay. It's B&M "style", how gay. Oh well. I got this thing with no instructions, just the shifter and a bag of rings....

RE: explain the different brake pads?

For brake pads I'd suggest ceramic. They can be a bit pricey, but will go the distance and do the job for what you want. Metallic is the best stopping power as far as I know, but they probably...

RE: Glow Gauges--can't find 12v source

You don't have to splice anything. Look for the biggest bulb on the back of the gauge cluster, and wrap the red wire (cut back + expose wire) around the base of the bulb, and screw it back in. ...

RE: What clutch fluid.

It's just brake fluid, Dot3 or 4, whichever it says on the reservoir to use.

RE: short shifter Q(dual vs single)

I do everything on Ebay basically. Most items seem to ship faster than ordering from an online merchant. Speaking of that, I just ordered rotors + pads from buybrakes.com. Fuggars drop shipped...

RE: Bad ass tank!!

Is this the CG tank running through the streets with rims on it and ****? If so, I want to choke the person that made this video. It puts the G in ghetto in my opinion.

Clutch fluid -- to change or not to change

My car is going in for service shortly and I'm having them change brake fluid, etc. Well, my clutch fluid is 5 years old and looks a bit contaminated. Should I have them flush it out, or is this...

RE: New VTEC, but it's not a car.

It's really a V-4. You should hear one of these with an aftermarket exhaust, it sounds like a V-8 at full bore when you really turn it up. Bad ass, because people don't know what to think when they...

New VTEC, but it's not a car.

That's right, this summer I will have a new toy in the fleet. V-4 800cc Vtec motor: the Honda Interceptor. ;)

Energy Conserving Oil?

Ok, so currently I use Mobil 5w30 synthetic blend (the 7500 mile label stuff) but would like to switch to fully synthetic Mobil1 in the near future. Only, the pure synthetic stuff isn't "energy...

RE: Reverse Glow Gauges Installed (PICS)

Thanks for the comments everyone.

Cost was approx. $48 to my door. A little pricey, but well worth it now. Installation time was about 1.5 hours, only because I didn't know what I was...

Thanks to the forum for helping me (noob) find a 12v source to use. Installation wasn't bad at all. The white looks awesome in the daytime, since my car is white too. I love these gauges.

RE: Glow Gauges--can't find 12v source

I just wrapped it around the large bulb connector in the back, and put the ground to a bolt. Works beautifully. I owe you a beer!

Thanks for the suggestions all, look for pics in appearance...

Glow Gauges--can't find 12v source

I'm a major newb at electrical stuff, and can't seem to find a hot 12v wire for my glow gauges. Installation was great, but now there is no juice. The ground wire (-) can just be attached to a bolt...

RE: Argh, noise from rear wheel

It happens turning on/off ramps with no brakes being applied, and cruising through a parking lot with no brakes applied.

RE: Argh, noise from rear wheel

I only hear it at the lowest speeds, and especially when turning. The sound goes away completely at 20+ MPH
