Default whistling sound

well i have an intake and ive heard that sometimes those create like a sucking sound. but ive had it for quite some time and tonight i went out and the car seemed to make a whistling sound that grew louder and quieter with the rpms. i cant tell if its the engine or not. i just installed new speakers amp and head unit too and thats the only thing that has changed. so i dont know if it could be the amp picking something up or what.

you might be pickin up engine noise from a bad ground turn the stereo off and see if u still get it ......if not move the ground wire... or the rca's are next to the power wire which isn't good...

^^^^^^^^ Ding Ding Ding

did you wire your system yourself or did someone eles? whoever did it probably put the Power(Big wire) and RCAs(white and red) to close together which means you will pick up the exact noise you are talking about. You need to keep them as far away as possible..try putting them both sides of the car. your noise should go away.

or u could get a nice set or RCAs and it will stop. I have my power, remote, bass, AND RCAs all going down the same side.......no noise......then again my RCAs werent 10$ either.
