Default car washing question- need help asap

alright I wasn't sure what to put this under but I'll make it fast and easy

I got soap, water(hose), rags, sponges, and window cleaner, tire cleaner and so on...

I'm cleaning my boss's dump truck (lil red) cause he's sorta a clean freak anyway

he tells me top to bottom, heres what I do

Spray down the entire truck

Mix soap and water in bucket, and sponge section by section, spraying the soap after soon afterwards

and clean all the tires, wheels, mirrors, glass and so on

Did I do it right? I used to have a squeeige but my boss has alot of lil kids, and they take stuff and **** with it, and whenever i let it dry it leaves marks, and if i use a paper towl or cloth it smears, I don't know it's hard to explain, do this make sense to anyone? I gotta go soon so ANY and ALL help is greatly appericated thanks

dry it with a soft, clean towel as soon as you are done washing it, that will keep the streaks down. and make sure you are using car soap, not dish soap, shampoo, or handsoap. it has to be car soap.

After you're finished washing it, take it for a ride on the highway and let 'er rip.........that'll dry it off.

If its the glass leaving marks then use invisible glass and newspapers. Work wonders.

Microfiber towels are your friend, invest in them, and they will take care of your streaking/spotting issues.
