Hey Bobby, not trying to piss you off, but your numbers just sank you. and they werent quite right.

SRT-4-2900#
215 (seem to dyno higher, more like 225, ill go with that)

civic VP-2456#
115+75= ~190

on my ET calculator (which i know isnt perfect, but its better than uneducated guessing) it puts the SRT-4 at about 14.36 with 2900 pounds and 225hp, and puts the VP at 14.37 with 2456 and 190hp. and if you figure on the civic not having traction problems from launching off the juice, then not having any lag on the juice, that gives it enough of an advantage to make this story at least feasible. sounds like hanging with the 4 is about right.

When I went to the dyno on Sunday, we had an '05 SRT-4 with 1200 miles trying to see what he was starting off with... He made some CRAZY numbers and he was stock. Something like 220 HP... don't remember TQ though.

i dont think that an SRT4 with 1200 miles is even past the break-in point...

It's not.. But it's also not my car, so if he wants to break it, that's his loss!

a good driver can get a stage 0 srt4 into the 13s by playing with tir pressure...and should be into the 13s with DRs and weight reduction
