my friend experienced that four years back when he got the Xbox on its release date. they replaced it free of charge.

yet another reason im not getting it until next year.

I've never really like the XBOX, i prefer PS2 because of the better games. All XBOX fans say that the XBOX is faster but XBOX doesn't have teh game selection of PS2. XBOX 360 was launched before it was ready, microsoft needs to learn to release quality stuff that actually works.

IMO...the games on PS2 that arent on Xbox are all crap. theyre just games that are made to promote the PS2. whenever you see a good game come out for the PS2, chances are, its A) already out for the xbox, B) came out for the xbox too, or C) is coming out on xbox within a month or two

im wating for the ps3 too...this way i can get ps2 cheaper:D, i got ps2 already,its the bigger one with a mod chip even tho i dont really get burnt games anymore cuz they cause me problems,and its in my room, but i want to get the skinny ps2 when its gets cheaper to go along with the t.v im getting in my car

Gran Turismo is reason enough for me to buy Sony instead. i dont game much outside of that.

Same here. thats why i picked ps2 over xbox. Gran Turismo 4 is an unbelievable game. although all ive found for civics in it is hatchbacks
