Default Y8 Manifold on D17

Ok I've decided that this summer I'm going to attempt this conversion. I know I'm going to have to replace the TB and Intake, the fuel rail(?). Also with this conversion I'd like to add a return fuel line, but I couldn't find any real information as to how I would go about this, I don't wanna assume anything so if anyone has some input please let me know. I know I'm gonna have to run line(stainless braided) back to the stock fuel pressure reg. and fuel pump but not really sure where to go from there. Also is there any direct modification to the intake manifold?

I know its a ways away, I like to have as much if not all the information I can long before I start anything.

Thanks

i'm under the impression that no other D-series fits the 1.7...

is it actually possible?...

the D17 is the bastard-child of the D-series.

It is possible, seven and sam(from missionspeed) have both heard of it being done; I've read on other forums that it has been done, but I can't find anyone who has done it or a DIY on it. So I'm hoping that someone on here will be able to give me some direction.

Yeah I saw that thread not too long ago, but it really doesn't tell me a whole lot, I found a "DIY" on it but still there isn't the complete info I've been looking for, it helped a bit but...

so yeah... may just have to work this one out when the time comes, or put it off a bit longer.

Ok I'm bringing this back from the dead, I found a DIY(kinda) on 7thgenciv, not exactly the same thing I am planning on but very similar and he explains a lot about what wires he had to reroute, etc.

Here's the link for those that are interested in something similar:

Crap, I meant to elaborate on the D17 intake manifold options. Must've slipped my mind. I appologize.
