Anybody heard of this new product? Its only for the 96-00 Civic CX,DX,LX with the D16Y7 non Vtec engine. Its a cold air intake (filter is mounted in the fender well) with a Box that replaces the big factory silencer in the right corner that has a small fan in it that blows air into the throtle body. They claim to add 6-10hp on the stock engine and you can tune the sound of it while on the move. JC Whitney Sport Compact has it for $399. Anyone tested it yet? I'm thinking of buying it for my 00 LX, but can't find much info on this product.

I wouldnt waste my money on it either, its a scam. If anything, it'll probably draw lag on your engine.

theres no way in hell a little electric fan would be able to push more cfm than what the engine consums by itself at high rpm. sounds like a scam to me.

A friend has one in his Accord. He got it from eBay and says he can feel the difference in performance. I personally don't think it works.
