Default radio problems

i've been ridin with no radio since i got my car, and when i tried to put an old one i had in it didnt work. what could be the problem, and is this something i can take to bestbuy and they can fix or would i have to take it somewhere like pepboys?

What kind of a radio do u have that is actually worth fixing. If it is some old crap I don't think that someone is going to want to fix it, trobleshooting those things are pain is the ass.

i dont think its the radio, i think its something in the wiring

you need to be sure you have a good ground, twelve volt constant and acc power.
