So, on the setup I'm getting from you, running 6psi, what do you estimate my D16Y8 will put down?

150+whp and in the 135 to 140tq range, you will be able to be deep into the 14's I would say.

to go with the topic...although kinda not really....i raced an old si hatch back late 90s one...in eastern pa...but got my butt handed to me...caught back up to the guy..and we were dicking around from then on:)...it was the best like..5 miles ive ever had in my life...that was in my escort...i cant wait to be hearing all the kids who wish they will have my si:)

You'd probably be barely in the 14s with 150 to the wheels. You have to be pushing 200 horsepower to crack 13s.

Driving takes 3 abilities: Accelerating+braking+turning. More power only helps acceleration. Lower weight helps all 3.

with my stock 90 dx dpfi i raced a crx si with a intake and exhaust and won. i also had 4 friends in the car plus me. don't ask me how, but i blew his doors off.

with my z6, i raced a cadillac srx with the awd v8. he stayed with me at my back bumper, i missed third and when i got it in he almost caught me but i pulled by about 1 car length in third. after he complimented my car.

i only had the stock z6 with a cat back exhaust, now i have a short ram intake.
