CAI INSTALLING. .HELP
 
for a 00 civic ex


the cai seems long.. but i know for sure its for the car...i heard you gotta take off the front bumper..

well.. its off... where does the filter actually lay in the car?

You also got to remove the stock airbox I believe.

what kind of CAI is it?

most CAIs for civics go down into the left wheel well (when you're looking at it fromt he engine bay). it usually comes in two pipes. the longer one goes from the throttle body to above the left wheel well. then the shorter pipe goes down from it and is near the well.

hey guys.. i got it in now.... i never actually installed one myself ... so yay for me..

now i started the car... how come theres this engine like smell that i smell comin real close from the filter.... is it just normal???
