It's about damn time. The turbo starts going in tomorrow. First I'm doin the ARP's, then start on the turbo. I still gotta pick up various gaskets and random junk like that but I've got everything all planned out so it will install smoothly. The only problem I see so far is there's a little knick on the mating face of the wastegate dump tube that makes it sit off of the wastegate a couple millimeters. I'll probably take it to a machine shop for them to smooth off the surface. Also, there isn't a hole in the intake tubing for the IAT sensor. Anyone know what to do with that? Should it be installed before the turbo, or right before the throttle body? But right now I gotta go drive away my 87 octane gas then fill 'er up with some octane booster and 93 octane.
nice man,,,,,,,,,my big install is the 26th when my girlfriend gives me my 38mm tial wastegate, she wont let me have it until them.........but man is boost gonna be fun[sm=gears.gif][sm=gears.gif][sm=gears.gif]
If ur doin ARPS you dont HAVE to take of the head. If u do thou, id suggest a thicker head gasket.
Yeah, I didn't plan on it. I'm just gona leave the stocker on there for now because I don't want to have to deal with a blown head gasket because the new one didn't seat properly.
