Does anyone know how to legally register a right hand drive car?

Are you referring to a Jspec car which is imported here? If so you have to get it modded to meet US specifications (roughlt $3000 - $8000): winshield, cat converter, impact bars, etc...

If you just get a conversion kit then it should be like a normal car

I tried to bring back my Skyline R33 back with me, till I found out how much it was

Its some kind of shatterproof glass, the kind that just spiderwebs instead of totally shattering.

Me to, but I'm not paying what motorex is charging. I'm sure there is a way around all the fees. Besides....Nissan will start selling them legally in 07.ntxmotorsports38114.766712963
