Default is this normal?

i always thought the civic sat high in the rpms. going 70mph in 5th gear is at 4000 rpms. and with the exhaust that gets pretty noisy. i was just wondering if thats the same with all of your cars or if the previous owner did something with the tranny and didnt mention it. this probably belongs somewhere else but off topic gets the most attention

The B16 has like the shortest gear out of any honda tranny so you are about right

Yeah that sounds about right. About the putting this in the off topic section cause it gets more views. Put it where it goes. Today post at the top gets the most views.

That seems kinda high. My car goes up to about 3000-3500 in 5th gear going 70 but if I go 80 it will go up to 4000.
