I have read the glass cleaning 101 already. But I was wondering if there is anything out there, besides the $30.00 Cleaning System that I just read about, to remove water spots on my glass. The windshield isn't bad at all. But all the side glass in the car is terrible. I really don't have $30 to invest in a cleaning system. Is there anything out there on the market that I can go to Autozone or Advance and pick up to remove these unsightly water spots?
try Rain-x. it improves visibility when driving in the rain or snow and repels rain, sleet and snow. works pretty well. only use it on the outside of the window tho. it cost about $5 for 25 wipes and theres a spray and gel kind as well at advanced auto or autozone.

try drying your glass with newspaper when you wash your car, works really well...windex works good but DONT use it on hot days, as soon as you spray it on your glass it dryes up and streaks the hell out of your window and looks really bad
You could wax the spots out w/regular car wax. *Dont laugh* That usually gets the stuff on mine out. And if there's spots on your black plastic trim, try black shoe polish (rub it in w/a toothbrush, and rub it out w/a towel, then add whatever black trim polish you use)

I second the newpaper idea... it works pretty good
