raced a neon rt 150
I was taking a friend to look at a van he was interested in buying out in the country, we were on a long straight dual lane road and i pulled out to overtake a couple of big trucks, as i got passed me i noticed this neon just ahead of me, it had silver racing stripes on it and i thought how strange cos these things are rare out here never mind ones with gay stripes on them.
As i got near to him he dropped it a gear and took off, i responded dropping it into 4th at about 75mph but he started pulling away from me, i knew it would of been better putting it in 3rd but i also knew that i was just about to hit the meat of the v-tec and when i did i started gaining.
the road now had slight bends in it and just as i was overtaking him (still in 4th doing 110mph) we dropped into a depression then onto a nasty right hander, i had to slow immediately as did he thus ending the race. wish id of known the roads tho then i would of taken him properly.
