Default short shifter Q(dual vs single)

im about to buy a B&M, and i just want to make sure i have my facts straight. so a dual sits higher than a single bend, but is closer to you(the driver)? i dont want that gap so you can see the metal, like in some pics.

youll have that gap with pretty much anything aftermarket. but get the dual. ive had both, and i like the dual bend soooo much better. it doesnt point at you as much, it points more straight up.

Yea I got my for 45 on Ebay but I had to get a prelude shifter.
