Does anyone happpen to know where I could find just a muffler to the '96-'00 Greddy EVO exhausts? I desperately need just the muffler for a custom dual exhaust job. If you have any ideas or know of any place where they would have just the muffler, please reply. Appreciate it.

I also didn't ask for any criticism, it was just simple question to you all. When you drive a 1998 DX, automatic, all my aspirations for having a fast car are going to have to wait until I get the cash and the desire to buy a crazy engine and transmission swap. But, until then, it's all show...no go.

Contacting Greddy was the only thing I could think of as well.

What were getting at is that u might lose HP because of reduced backpressure. Just be careful.

I know of all the power loss issues, and sorry to everyone if I seemed like a dick. But, it's hard to just find a friggen muffler.

Look on flowmaster site or somethign like that for a universal muffler, though being a civic owner my self, i agree on the (dual exhaust on a 4 banger??? ) u talk about low money, ur just wasting more money and losing more power. Cars ratios are not meant to be tampered with only to be enhanced.

yea if not just for the fact i would not look that great a n/a dx is not pushin the power to take advantage of a dual. it will jsut kill the motor. </P>


i would say maybe order a nother catback and jsut take the muff and sell the pipes and stuff if need be. might work.</P>

Ok, so I found the 3 mufflers, I got dual out the back, one of from each side, which I got dipped in chrome then speckled in platinum. Took your advice on the wing for the trunk and roof, I also ended up putting a small wing on the hood too. Not to mention the 100lb torque gain I got from those three wings, I went aluminum to save on weight.

I also got the flame kit for the side exhaust so when I nail the throttle the flames shoot out the sides, only a 2 inch flame, thanks to the boys at West Coast cars and Xzibit for giving me the idea. (I LOVE MTV!!!!:eek:)

So decided to take her out last Friday, got lots of compliments, and he was right, I picked up a 5th muffler to beat all the girls off, they came in oceans, and were throwing thier panties at me, so now I have about 10 pairs of thongs hanging from my rearview mirror, and they wrote all thier numbers in lipstock on rear window, so I'm big pimpin' now.
