Default Another stupid question

I'm going to change tires tomorrow and right now I have 195/60/14 on. Everybody tells me they're the wrong size. Now what should I do, get 205's or get 195's?

I just wonder how did 195's end up on there...and why are 205's better?

WIDER. and go with one shorter too, like 205/55 or even a 50.

i would agree go with the low pro tire 55 or 50 and wider as they say is better stick to the road easier. and as how the 195's got there i would say someone was worried about them rubbing possible? or just didnt know what they were doing? who knows

Well, compared to stockers, 195's aren't bad at all.

I went to 4 places and they wouldn't even sell me anything over 185. Those morans were talking about liability and other crap and that my car is supposed to have 185/60R14 and even 195 don't belong on those rims. They gave me all kinds of B/S and didn't even want to sell me just tires w/o mounting...tirerack here I come..

get bigger rims. those 14s are too narrow to mount much more tire on.

exactly, they obviously arent wide enough to hold a wiide tire safely. If your looking for traction and performance you'll need to get something bigger than a 14 inch wheel.

Something like a 16x7 would be great.

I have 14's on my car (not stock though). They handle 215's just fine.
