if it is 7 you will ned 205/40/17 if it is 7.5 you will nedd 215/40/17 if it is 8 you will nedd 225/40/17 |
RE: Need help about tire size???
i would go with 205/40... anything wider and you have a chance of rubbing.

RE: Need help about tire size???
I believe 7th gen civics have a larger wheel well, so you may be able to go with 215/45...stll depends on what kind of drop you are looking at though...you MAY run into rubbing issues...i'd check out 7thgencivic.com. they have a lot of specific information about your civic that you may find useful :)

RE: Need help about tire size???
Look on the back side of the wheel....there will be some info there that is VERY important. Size (17x7.5) and offset (+40mm) Its hard to imagine that a couple of mm could/would make a diff. The offset is the key. If the wheel is 7.5 wide the offset you need is NO LESS than +42mm. If the wheel is 7.0 wide you can maybe get away with a +40, NO LESS than +38, or they will hang out too far. Ideal for your civic (fits just like stocks) is 17x7 +45mm. You can lower the car as far as you want. (within reason of course)
