look in my other thread for specs. Hasn't been run at the track with new mods, I'm waiting until after my heads are ported with matching custom cam and a moderate shot of juice to get it fully dynotuned and to race it regularly. I'm too busy working on my local track's race nights. Maybe if I get a thursday off soon I'll go run the 1/8 for you.

4.56 are gears for real men! lol I'm just gonna go with the 4.10 because the cam kills my torque so I can't hardly use 6th anymore with 3.42s, and 4.10s should be perfect for the revs I want to turn through the traps also. Do you plan on going into OD on top end? That thing will sixty like crazy on slicks, geez 4.56x3.06= 13.95 overall first gear...

I need weight reduction on my car, it weighs 3,68x with me and a 3/4 full tank of gas. I have to take out the spare, jack, rear seat, stereo (who needs that crap with exhaust?) which should be good for 70 pounds or so. I also need to relocate battery to trunk, and weld in my subframe connectors. Then I'll be ready for racing. Too bad my DA in the summer will be like 4000 because it'll be 85* until 9 pm :( it was 38* tonight, car felt pretty freakin strong!

I'm gonna buy a set of draglites 15x3.5 and 15x10 to cut my raceweight to below 3600, but only if I can scrounge the money for a 9". Cars are expensive for an 18 year old.

just so you know, im not talking about an f-body, and i have found contrasting reports of what the first gear ratio is in a 727...but with the QTPs/3000/4.10s i was pulling consistant 1.70 short times, with a best of 1.67...when it ran 12.60s with that stuff, it had a track weight of 3692. i do not have overdrive, but i dont think that i will need it, because with the 4.10s and 26x11.5x15s i was shifting at 6200 coming through the top end shy of that, and my engine will rev well past 6500...when they tranny broke last year, it was right after an 8200+ rpm burnout...
