I had a '91 Chevy S-10 Blazer. That thing was a money pit. It seemed like every othermonth I had to get something fixed. </P>


My first Honda was an '89 Accord LXi. I bought it with 159K miles on it; I sold it with 199K miles. I never had any problems with that car. It's trouble free nature is the reason I bought my Civic 2 years ago.</P>

My last car before my Civic was a 68 Cadi Fleetwood. <U>That was a money pit</U>. Cost me over $100 a week in gas!! Plus it was as long as two Civics. I like cadillac, but i cant say i miss that thing.</P>

dont get me wrong i love some fords but i hate ford trucks but i do love me a good chevrolet trruck

1 was an 87 chevy nova (you know, the ones that were toyota corolla's with chevy badges)

2 was an 86 buick regal t type (damn I loved that car...I miss it) Had to get rid of it in high school because I got caught drinking and driving and my old man sold it.

3 was a 73 monte carlo that I yanked the motor out of and rebuilt to about 400 ponies, but the body couldn't handle it, it was so rusted out.

4 was a 88 pontiac 6000

5 was an 88 chevy s10 with the 4tech motor in it...got that one for free and had to replace the dustributor

6 was my baby...84 monte SS, couldn't afford to drive it on E-1 pay anymore so I traded it for the next car

7 was my most hated car ever, a 96 cavalier [:'(]

8 was my 93 Z71 but once again the whole 100 a week in gas was killing me

now I have a 2001 civic ex and I am loving it, but I think when I get done with it I will keep it and start looking for a 87 Grand national

It had a straight cut 5 speed gear box and loads of other race/fast road mods on the engine and suspension, I spent thousand of pounds on it and rebuilt the engine several times but after breaking down five times in one day I decided enough was enough and I should get a more reliable car.

One of my favs was the 84 Accord I bought for $550 with 120K already on it.
I drove that 'til almost 330k, when I made a mistake and blew it.

hehehehe i know what your saying. this guy is dropping his 96 cavi off at the shop for a complete engine build up. but aftermarket sux on the 2.4, all ive found so far is rods and pistons. also were having to make a turbo kit for it cause no one has one for the 2.4. this guy will be boosting 12psi at the track while on a 75 nx direct port shot. wonder hoe it will hold up [&:]

Mine was a 96 Daewoo Nexia GLXi. Was pretty nippy and took LOADS of handbrake turn abuse! I even had my name and a welsh flag in the back window like a rally driver!!! I miss that car for sentimental reasons! Got written off by a rubbish driver in a 1week old BMW M3. :(

I had it slammed with $3500 worth of stereo gear in it (which is now in my lovely civic!), with purple neons and 16" mags. My first car was my 93 civic! I blew the original motor at 220,000 miles and swaped in a 92 Si motor(D16Z6). Then after about 10,000 miles I wanted to upgrade, so I got the B18C and put it in last week. I will never get rid of this car!

my very first car was a 93 toyota celica, you know the ones with the flip up lights. I hated that car and whats bad is that i actually miss that car now, because of the gas prices. It got somthing like 42 miles per gallon but it had 200,000 miles too. I sold it for hardly nothing.

I can agree. My first car was a 93 lincoln continental signature series 3.8Lv6 that thing was a beast. it had the air suspension. but the damn sensors were bad and we got a few estimates for about 1500 to fix. The damn air pump never shut off. and when it did the bags would drop all the way and it would be like I had steel rods for shocks. I loved that thing power everything, and floated at 95 like noooooooooooooooooo problem. what I'd give to have that thing back. Only dissatvantage. mileage. on a 18 gal tank I got at best 19 when I abbsolutely babied it. about 300 miles per tank.
same mileage as i get on the civ. 300 miles per tank. and that's only a 9gal tank!!!!!

My first car was handed down to me by my dad. It was a green 94 Accord. It was a really nice car, I did wheels and a few other things to it. It was mainly for show. I sold it to my Grandpa and bought the Civic that I have today. When I got that, the speed bug bit and didn't let go.

88 Toyota Camry V6 LE, one of, if not the best IMO cars ever made as far as reliability is concerned. I beat the living s*** out of that car, and it still ran untill 268,000 miles (it had 150 when i bought) before i heard the piston rods fall apart one night on my way home from a party.

I had a gold 95 Nissan 240sx SE. It was the rarest Ive seen of the 240's. It had tunes, black leather, manual, and a Flowmaster exhaust. It sounded insane. Yea, I know, some people want to kill me right now for letting it go.

My first one (which I still have) is a '92 Corolla. It was handed down to me by my parents. I drove this thing up until december, when I got my very own bimmer. It's currently awaiting a 4AGZE engine and a 5-speed right now. Don't know how long it would take me to buy the engine, since I keep getting stupid tickets (reckless op, speeding, parking, the works - all in one week).

at one of the other forums at which i admin, some guy posted pictures of a ford sedan in austrilia, and he posted time slips and such...it is surprisingly a very fast car...it is a turbo XE3 or something...and with provided time slips he ran in the 11s! he said that bone stock it ran mid to high 14s with the automatic...

ive also seen pics of the falcon there, which is their cup car, and it looks good too.

125 enduro. i got it when i was 12, it was so heavy i couldn't pick it up when it fell over (which happened all the time because the kickstand was broke). you could drive off of a cliff at 100 mph and not catch air on that thing.

1988 Toyota Camry, EXCELLENT car. I bought it for a grand with 170,000 miles on it. Then i blew the engine at 268,000 miles trying to take a 90 degree turn in second gear decelling from 85mph... haha, TING TING TING TING TING TING BOOOOOM! That was awesome....clearly it was in my much, MUCH younger/immature high school days.

1981 Monte Carlo (Not the SS) Silver on olive green, with raised white letter tires on SS mags. Only 52,000 miles on it when I bought it. An old lady owned it before me and she babied it. Interior was in mint condition, exterior paint was even but a little dull. Wish I still had that car...[X(]

I drove it for 6 months, then I bought my 99 EX coupe and learned to drive stick (yes, in that order). Gave the 93 back to my parents, my little brother and sister have shared it since then and pretty much trashed the thing. sad. Put a double tubular steel bumper from a '82 bronco on it have to have a guy custom weld mounts. was mounted right to the frame.

I drove a slammed 1984 Toyota Tercel wagon and it was dope. Tore the 5 speed out of it and could only find a 4 speed to put in it. Then the headgasket blew. Had it fixed and traded it for an 87 MR2. That was a fun car to drive.

Well I got a 1972 Ford LTD Braugham for free, the guy had like 6 cars that wern't road legal and needed to get rid of it. Me and my cousin were going to fix it up, get the quarter panels replaced, replace the battery, starter, and altinator- lots of fun ****. Had only 66k miles on it, big ass car, got it running once and oh my god was it fun- ran out of gas after about 40 feet. Thank god it was in the yard. Sold it to a guy up north for $100 when we realised we just didn't have the money or the time to get it running right.

My current car, a 1986 Ford Crown Victoria cost me a total of $750 with 72k miles on it. I've put in a couple hundred more for minor parts and new tires, but she runs great, never had any major problems- lots of fun to burn old tires with.

Thats right I use to love thoughs v-8's. Still like to play with them but nothing beats smokin a V-8 with half the motor. YEAHHHH

First car I drove was my dad's 78 Honda wagon. First car I owned is still in the garage, 74 Vega, got it for $25.00 and spent over $2500 on mods-V-8 install. Bought the Mustang new in 86 and the Honda was added to the stable in 2003.

The first car I had for *continuous use* was a POS 1990 Chrysler LeBaron GTC (I think) convertible. We still have it. I'd just slink down in my seat when I was driving near my high school. It's okay power-wise, but it smells and drives like a boot. I hate it.

Fortunately, I only drove that thing for a year. I got my Civic 7/28/01 and have been happy ever since.

Actually, I lied... I forgot I had a green 98 four door ex. This only worked out for a couple months then someone felt it was necessary to ram it going 50 mph. I like my 99 coupe much better so it works out.

85 vette... saved money all through high school for university... then decided to take time off... and *cough* invest the money into cars. When you buy old though, you really don't lose money... I had my fun.

85 Ford Bronco... man I love it, still have it... I don't even "rock a civic" yet... Right now I drive a 90 Dodge Dakota..... they're both good trucks, reliable... but neither are good enough on gas for me....which is why I wanna get a civic. And the fact that they're reliable as hell.. and look good, etc., I wanted to get a civic since I realized I couldn't afford to drive the Bronco everyday back and forth to school. I remember going to cardomain and screwin around... that's when I fell in love with the 4 gen civics... some time between then and now I changed my mind to a 5th or 6th gen... i dunno why... lol.

I used to have a teal 94 Accord. All show, not one bit of go. It just didn't pull in the girls, so I bought the Civic. Wait, my cars still don't pull in the girls. I guess a fast Civic and a 17 year old Porsche just don't cut it :(

teal 1995 Corolla Dx. that poor car was so badly abused when i started driving...she finally gave up the ghost 2 years ago.

i had a 1997 Toyota Corolla DX...my mom gave it to me..yea im nbot embarassed to say it either...but..i totaled it goin 60 in a neighborhood and there was a wide turn and...Going, Going, Going, Boom...:'(:(
