ok i made the post that said HELP. im having trouble finding what motor this came out of in japan. its a JDM D16A sohc 1.6L vtec. anyone who can help please. i started a new post cause well i just did. thanks. here are some pics.

it could be a mini me motor, becuse i never heard of a d16a vtec

hang on what motor it came out of? you mean what car it came out of? its out of the 88-91 CRX

Plus, that's a 6th gen intake manifold.

I would guess it's out of either an 88-91 CRX or a 92-95 Del sol Lx/Dx or Civic Dx.

Ok, a little more digging and...

6th Generation (1996-2000)
EJ1 D16A JDM All 2-door
EK5 D16A JDM All 4-door 4WD/LEV
EK8 D16A JDM All 4-door 4WD/LEV

So right about the IM; wrong about the v-tec. Apparently it's the JDM D16Z6.
