Any of the big japanese companies are ver well made and sound wonderful. HKS HiPower is pretty loud and is a bit raspy on top end, but sounds very good imo. From what I can tell, its a tad bit quieter than my RS*R GTII. Assuming your ek has the higher revving b-series engine, it may be louder. I've only had the opurtinity to hear one an a z6 powerd crx

Super street did a review on this exhaust. They dynod a type S with it and gained 7 hp over stock w/o the silencer. Then they dynod it again with the silencer and got the same numbers. So if the noise ever bugs you, you could pop on the silencer

i don't have a b-series, rockin the d. Do you think that i should get the HKS or get Evo 2. It just seems like everyone has the Evo 2. But i can get the Greddy for like $490 at sportcompactonly.com

the HKS is too loud for me, but if you like that get that, because the EvoII is fairly quiet.

Yes, without the silencer it will be over 95db...hence the silencer
