Default Track time and dyno number guesses!

Tomorrow is the big day. Im going to the dyno and getting it tuned with Crome Pro and then Im hitting up the track. Take a guess on what numbers I'll hit and what times I'll get. Here's the full set up...nothing special

'00 Civic EX coupe
D16Y8
-3" CAI
-HP Racing 4-2-1 header
-Custom 2.25" exhaust
-test pipe/ resonator
-ZEX 105300 cam and ZEX valve springs
-NGK 1 step colder plugs (V-Power)
-Arospeed FPR
-15" Flik Blast-C rims (Spoon/ Rota Slips copy)
-ZEX 55 shot
-Dropped about 2" on Megan Racing sleeve overs (spring rates: 400F, 350R)
-Tuned with Crome Pro by a professional

Im REALLY hoping to hit a 14.8 or a 14.9 ...my only disadvantage is that it's a coupe. I know it would hit 13's easy in a hatch or CRX.

135whp w/o the bottle.

15 flat with.

and a hatch is only about 100lbs lighter than a coupe and teh CRX is only 300lbs lighter. Nowhere near giving you more than a second off of your QM time. Every 100lbs = ~ 1/10th.

You don't think I can hit a 14.9?

How often do you go to the track? What kind of tires are you gonna run? Are you gonna strip it or are you gonna run full interior +? Does Crome have a stall speed option?

actually a coupe is better for drag than a hatch. they take the shock of a hard launch a lot better.

is it a wet kit or dry kit?

Dry kit. And it's Hankook tires. Im going to put the tire pressure at 35 psi in the front. They're at 40 right now. I know this isn't much but the trunk is stripped besides the nitrous bottle. I think Im going to take out the back seats before I go as well if I can figure out how in a very short amount of time.

low 15s...you might be able to break into the ultra-high 14s if you get a high launch (like 5k) and are able to hold traction all the way down the track.

Eh I dont wanna be a ball buster, but I dont think youll hit 14s. Im thinking 15.4 or so. Keep in mind that a stock D16 boosted to 200 WHP will run like 14's. I dont know too much about nitrous, how long does it actually "engauge" ? A few seconds?

for as long as I have my foot pushed to the floor. And a boosted 200whp d16 can run 13's no problem man.
