went to the track for the first time

so yeah, i went to an 1/8mile track that is close to my house with all of my friends. i was running mid-high 10s, so i thought i was doing pretty good, considering my friend's 00 SI was running low tens and my friends 94 LS hatch was running with the SI. me and my friend that has a 90 CRX SI with a stripped interior, short throw, intake, and exhaust were running dead even. i wasn't planning on taking my car, so i had all kinds of stuff in my car, so i thought i did pretty well for my first time at the track.

There are a lot of factors that could get your time down in the quarter past the 1/8th mile, but if I had to guess... low 16's. What did you say your 60' times were?

Check out this 1/4 mile calculator... it's about halfway down the page and don't worry about the rpm's at the light unless you need to figure out your gear ratio's....

i typically run 10.3-10.40 in the 8th in my stratus, and around 16.0-16.2

what were the 60s,a nd what mph?

they weren't handing out slips that night. i think my 60's were like 2.5-3 ish, does that sound right? i wasn't even looking at my speedo but i was about to shift from 3rd-4th everytime i crossed the line.

my best time was a 10.28
