to be completly honest with you, i think he will win, he is in a teggy, his motor is alot bigger than yours, and he can still shift it like a manual, but i like that you put a home-made intake on your car, what did you use, i might make me one, for my 88' CRX!!! good luck, either way if you lose, or win...you should have a nice addrenaline rush, just make sure to keep it safe, do be doin it with lots of traffic... have fun...GOOD LUCK

thanks for your opinion!

as far as the intake goes, it came with the car, it's the stock tube with a cone air filter

**old pic, i cleaned the engine bay last weekend**

My money is on the Ex. The LS is only 140Hp and at least 300lbs heavier than you.

i wouldn't say that the LS would beat you in reverse, but as far as Street Sniper talkin about 140HP, and 300 punds more than your EX, he is talkin about power to weight ratio...it sounds like, if you take a stock EX-about 125HP, the last i checked, i may be wrong, and then a 140Hp teggy LS,your car is what 26-2800 pounds, making the teggy about 2900-3100 punds, the teggys power to weight ratio is perfect, and if your friend knows how to launch his car right, he should beat you, a honda's power to weight ratio is ok, but with a honda, you need to add more to make it better, with the teggy, they are fast as fuc as it is...i had an ex, auto. and it was ok, i was able to beat a prelude, but i road in a friends teggy, and it was alot faster than my EX was... he is an auto, and you are a manual, so idk, i still think he will win, but who knows, i guess you will need to post when after you 2 racer ,( im sorry if i left anything out up top, talkin about power to weight ratio, i am in skool right now, so i dont have enough tme to totally explain it all...) GOOD LUCK hope you win...

I really don't want to do it on the street, but i don't know where to race legally in the Miami area

thanks for the replies, I want to get a real SRI, headers, hi-flow cat and cat-back exhaust, I'm still in the saving money part of the project
